Meet Elaine; she has been in dentistry for many years, starting out as a dental nurse and then progressing to Dental Hygiene/Therapist.
Undertaking all aspects of children’s dentistry, adult fillings, routine scale and polish, stain removal, treating advanced gum disease and whitening. Elaine works under referral from a dentist but can also be seen under direct access for a hygiene appointment without seeing the dentist.
Elaine has experience working in the community setting, at both NHS and private practices, seeing nervous, dental-phobic patients and hopefully giving them reassurance, compassion and understanding to undertake dental treatment.
Elaine is also qualified to provide treatment using ‘Happy Air’ Sedation.
