Teeth whitening solutions in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire

Under current EU law it is illegal for anyone other than a dentist or hygienist to provide tooth whitening. Despite claims to be qualified and insured. Tooth whitening done elsewhere can result in damage to the teeth and gums, so ensure your whitening is only done by a dental practice.

Teeth whitening is a fantastic way to give your smile a boost, whiter teeth lift your smile and can help you look younger. We can tailor your results depending on the look you want to go for, so whether it’s a Hollywood white smile or something more subtle, our teeth whitening treatments in Stoke-on-Trent can help you achieve it.

As part of our teeth whitening treatment, we use hydrogen peroxide to gently whiten your teeth over a period of time, there is no detrimental effect on the teeth using our systems and most individuals experience very little sensitivity.

After an initial teeth whitening consultation to discuss the whitening procedure and your aftercare, we will then take impressions and make your custom trays to fit your teeth perfectly, which can then be used to top up your teeth whitening.

Next, we will fit the trays and show you how to use the teeth whitening gels daily at home, to gently lift the shade of your teeth to your desired shade.

We can also offer in house ‘power bleaching’ if you want to see the results quicker.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have burning questions about Tooth Whitening? Here are our FAQs;

Does it hurt?

Tooth whitening shouldn’t be painful and the gels which we use are gentle on your teeth but strong enough to give you the result that you desire! If you have generally sensitive teeth then you can expect some sensitivity during the whitening process, this can be easily managed using a sensitive toothpaste. You can eliminate sensitivity further by only using gels purchased through a dental practice.

How white will my teeth go?

Due to the nature of the whitening we use you can tailor the result of your whitening, so whether its Hollywood white or just a little boost as soon as you are happy with the shade of your teeth just stop! Tooth whitening will only lighten your natural teeth, so depending on the result you want any fillings or crowns at the front of your mouth might need replacing after the whitening.

How long does it last?

This depends person to person. The important thing to remember is that it is not permanent, your teeth will gradually go back to their original shade. This will be accelerated if you drink a lot of tea, coffee, red wine or you smoke. We always recommend topping up your teeth every few months to maintain the shade of your teeth.

I want to go ahead, what’s next?

Give us a call and we will arrange a consultation to suit you to discuss the treatment in depth so you are 100% happy and informed before we start. If we don’t see you as a patient regularly then we will need to confirm you are dentally fit before we start.
