Dental implants in Staffordshire are something many people research for months before taking the next step. It is not just about replacing missing teeth. It is about choosing the right clinician, understanding the treatment properly, and feeling confident that the person placing your implant has the experience, discipline, and judgement required for long-term success.
That question deserves a proper answer.
For any dentist, earning the trust of patients is important. But earning the trust of other dentists is a different level of professional recognition altogether.
To stand in front of a room of qualified clinicians and be scrutinised, questioned, and challenged by peers who are investing their own time and money to become better at dental implants requires more than clinical experience. It requires depth of knowledge, confidence, practical leadership, and a proven track record of delivering implant dentistry at a high standard.
In early July, Dr Amit Jilka of Abbey House Dental co-delivered an advanced full-day implant training course in Crawley alongside Dr Stephen Anderson, a clinician with over twelve years of implant placement experience who originally trained alongside Dr Jilka at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
Dr Amit Jilka brings significant experience to the field of implant dentistry. A graduate of the University of Sheffield, he has been placing dental implants since 2012 and holds advanced qualifications in Implantology, Oral Surgery, Coaching and Mentoring. Alongside his clinical work, he has built a strong reputation as an implant surgeon, business owner, mentor and educator, with a particular focus on helping dental professionals develop practical, efficient and sustainable approaches to implant-led dentistry.
His work extends far beyond the treatment room. As Clinical Lead at Abbey House Dental, Dr Jilka has helped grow the organisation from a two-surgery practice into one of Staffordshire’s largest independent dental providers, now operating across five sites. This growth has been supported by structured systems, digital workflows, multidisciplinary care and strong team development — all areas that reflect his wider approach to modern dentistry.
The training day was hosted for delegates on the Brighton and Sussex Medical School Diploma in Dental Implantology, one of the UK’s recognised postgraduate implant programmes. It was attended throughout by Professor Jag Dhadha, Maxillofacial Consultant and Director of the Diploma, and Dr Sami Stagnell, the Course Lead.
For Dr Jilka, teaching implant dentistry is not simply about demonstrating procedures. It is about sharing the systems, decision-making processes and clinical frameworks that help dentists deliver safer, more predictable and more confident implant care. Through national mentoring, in-house training academies and structured development pathways, he continues to support dentists in areas including dental implant dentistry, IV sedation, sinus lifting and full-arch rehabilitation.
Dr Jilka is also the ITI Director for Staffordshire, a member of the Staffordshire Local Dental Committee, and teaches on and helps coordinate the PGDip Dental Implant Reconstructive Surgery programme at Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
His role as an educator reflects the same standard that patients experience at Abbey House Dental: dentistry built on clinical excellence, continuous learning, structured care and a commitment to raising standards across the profession.

The programme covered territory that most dentistry never touches and delegates put real-world cases directly to both speakers and received direct, unfiltered clinical answers from two experienced clinicians working through the cutting edges of implant dentistry in real time.
That kind of teaching does not happen behind polished conference presentations. It happens when a clinician is confident enough in their knowledge to be questioned on anything.
The day was sponsored by Straumann, the most clinically researched implant system in the world. All three Abbey House Dental practices use Straumann implants exclusively.
For patients researching dental implants in Staffordshire, clinical quality matters more than location hype. An implant is a surgical placement that integrates with bone, so the margin between a good outcome and a poor one often comes down to precision, case selection, planning, and experience.
The standard being applied in the Abbey House Dental consultation room is the same standard being taught on a nationally recognised university diploma. It is the straightforward consequence of who is practising here.
This is why Abbey House Dental gives patients access to dental implants in Staffordshire with the same level of clinical thinking often associated with major city practices.
Free Implant Consultation and Assessment with Two of the most experienced implant clinicians in the UK
Abbey House Dental is hosting an open day at our Festival Park practice for anyone exploring dental implants in Staffordshire, including single implants, multiple implants, or full arch treatment.
Two of the most experienced implant clinicians in the UK will be in attendance. Between them they have placed more implants than most practices will see in a decade. The day is designed for people who are still in the research phase asking questions, weighing options, not yet ready to commit but wanting to speak to someone who will give them a straight answer.
There is no obligation. No pressure. One conversation can clarify things that months of online reading cannot.
If you have been thinking about this for a while and are ready to speak to someone who knows this procedure at the highest level, this is the day to do it. Spaces are limited.
If you have been comparing dental implants in Staffordshire and want a clear, honest clinical opinion, this open day is designed to help you understand your options without pressure.
