The growth of Abbey House Dental has always centred around its associates, a philosophy designed to help them grow clinically and build confidence.
Mentorship and Specialization: Dr. Amit Jilka, the Clinical Lead, now dedicates significant time to mentoring associates, focusing on dental implants and the provision of clear aligners. This mentorship is a hands-on, team effort, especially for complex cases like implant placements, grafting, or sinus lifts, until the associate is ready to fully handle them independently.
Sedation Training: Abbey House Dental is a recognised sedation training centre, with three accredited mentors approved by the Royal College of Surgeons. All associates are trained in IV and inhalation sedation from their first day.
New Training Academy: A new training academy has opened at the Festival Park practice. This facility, which can hold up to 40 people, is set to host clinical hands-on courses and business-related courses, and is already in use for in-house clinical meetings and courses for the team of over 110 staff members, including 35 clinicians.

Reliable Technology: The practice uses NSK micromotors for implant surgery, including the reliable Surgic Pro, which Dr. Jilka has been using for over 10 years, as well as the latest high-specification Surgic Pro2.
Handpiece Maintenance: To ensure longevity and reduce repair bills, the team uses the NSK iCare handpiece oiling machine for proper post-use lubrication, which brings the business a cost saving overall.
