The Abbey House Dental Charity Ball was created to honour their loved ones and transform that emotion into something positive and life-changing for others.
The British Heart Foundation was chosen in memory of a much-loved Abbey House Dental hygienist who sadly passed away following emergency heart surgery. By supporting the British Heart Foundation, colleagues, friends, and patients were able to celebrate her life, remember her kindness, and contribute to vital heart research and support.
The Pink Ribbon Foundation was selected after one of the practice’s dental nurses was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her incredible courage in sharing her breast cancer journey inspired thousands and gave hope to others facing similar challenges. Supporting this charity helped raise awareness and funds for breast cancer projects that make a real difference to patients and their families.
Gracie May’s Dream a Little Dream is a charity founded by another dental nurse at Abbey House Dental in memory of her four-year-old daughter. The charity supports children with cancer by funding special experiences, toys, and comforting essentials that bring moments of joy and comfort during incredibly difficult times. Each of these charities symbolises strength, resilience, and the remarkable power to turn heartbreak into hope for families affected by serious illness and loss.
